What is the minimum attendance required to appear in exams?

What happens if I fail in a subject?
If a student fails in one or more subjects, they can appear in the Back Paper Examination conducted alongside the regular semester examinations in subsequent semesters. Students can carry failed subjects across semesters and clear them. However, the degree is awarded only after clearing all subjects from all 6 semesters. The number of attempts is not limited by SCTE&VT.
How is CGPA / SGPA calculated?
SGPA (Semester Grade Point Average) is calculated by dividing the sum of credit-weighted grade points by total credits in a semester. CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) is calculated across all semesters. Each subject has assigned credits, and the grade obtained (O, A+, A, B+, B, C, D) corresponds to grade points (10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4). SCTE&VT publishes the detailed marking scheme.
Can I apply for revaluation or rechecking of answer sheets?
Yes. Students can apply for revaluation or rechecking of answer sheets within the prescribed deadline after result publication. The application is submitted through SCTE&VT Odisha portal with the required fee. International Polytechnic's Examination Cell assists students in this process.
