Hall Tickets for SCTE&VT Semester Examinations are available for download on the official SCTE&VT Odisha portal. Students must carry their hall ticket to the examination hall along with their college identity card. Hall tickets are released approximately 10 days before the examination.

Practical Examination
Practical / Lab exams conducted at the institution under SCTE&VT guidelines with external examiner.
Internal Assessment
Class tests, assignments, mid-semester tests, and attendance — assessed continuously throughout the semester.

Special / Back Examination Provisions
Back Paper / Ex-Student Exam
Students who fail in one or more subjects can appear in the back paper examination conducted along with the regular semester exams.
Improvement Examination
Students who have passed but wish to improve their grade can appear in improvement examinations to better their SGPA / CGPA.
Special Exam (Medical Ground)
Students who miss exams due to medical emergencies can apply for a special examination with supporting medical certificate.
Examination Rules & Regulations
Attendance Requirement
- Minimum 75% attendance mandatory to sit in exam
- Shortage of attendance leads to detention from exam
- Medical certificates considered for condoning shortage
- Attendance is calculated per subject, per semester
Hall Ticket Rules
- Hall ticket is mandatory to enter examination hall
- Must carry valid college identity card along with hall ticket
- Hall ticket must be downloaded from SCTE&VT portal
- Duplicate hall ticket issued by Exam Cell if lost
Prohibited Items
- Mobile phones strictly prohibited in exam hall
- No electronic devices, smart watches, or earphones
- No unauthorised notes, books, or printed material
- Use of unfair means leads to cancellation of paper
Answer Sheet Rules
- Write roll number, subject code clearly on answer sheet
- Use black or blue ink pen only — no pencil for answers
- Do not write roll number anywhere except designated space
- Answer sheets are strictly confidential and not returned
Practical Exam Rules
- Students must bring lab record, observation book
- Conducted in presence of internal + external examiner
- Dress code: formal with college ID; lab coat if required
- No help from classmates during practical examination
