About the Department

The Department of Mining Engineering at International Polytechnic, Khordha is one of the most strategically important departments of the institution, offering a 3-year Diploma in Mining Engineering approved by AICTE and affiliated to SCTE&VT, Odisha. With Odisha being India's richest mineral state — home to iron ore, coal, bauxite, chromite, and manganese reserves — there is a consistent and growing demand for trained mining professionals. Our department provides industry-aligned training in mine operations, safety, geology, drilling, blasting, and mineral processing, preparing graduates for rewarding careers in one of the nation's most vital industries.

  • Passed Class 10 (Matric / SSC) from any recognised board
