About the Department
The Department of Electrical Engineering at International Polytechnic, Khordha is one of the flagship departments of the institution, established since its founding in 2014. The department offers a 3-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering approved by AICTE and affiliated to SCTE&VT, Odisha, with an annual intake of 60 students. Our programme is designed to produce technically competent, practically skilled, and industry-ready electrical engineers who can excel in power generation, transmission, industrial automation, and emerging technologies.

- ✓Passed Class 10 (Matric / SSC) from any recognised board
- ✓Minimum 35% aggregate marks in qualifying exam
- ✓Must have studied Science & Mathematics at Class 10
- ✓Age: Minimum 14 years as on 1st August of admission year

After completing the Diploma in Electrical Engineering, students can pursue B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical Engineering through lateral entry (direct 2nd year admission) at any engineering college. They can also appear for GATE, ESE, or pursue advanced diploma and certification programmes in PLC, SCADA, renewable energy, and industrial automation.
